Fire Protected Plywood Panels

Every Plywood production line is unique and requires a tailor-made method to achieve the targeted ‘Flame Retardant Standards’. EcoChem’s general method consists of impregnation of the individual wood veneers by using liquid flame retardant additives.

The impregnation of the veneers can be done under boiler pressure (Autoclave process) or in a standard dipping process. EcoChem offers the world’s most complete range of different fire-retardants for wood products. The determination of the additive which best answers your requirements can only be done based on individual communication between our companies. With our unique technology, Fireproof Plywood boards can be manufactured without discoloration.

The chemical composition of our flame retardant additives for wood panels is selected from an ecological perspective. We use only halogen-free substances in our formulas.

We sell products to produce fire retardant plywood panels in accordance with all the local country standards including the harmonised European standard EN 13501 Class B / C and the US Standard ASTM E84 Class 1 / Class A (Steiner Tunnel Test).
